Lympia.com has been on the internet for over a year now and we have experienced a great response with over 20,000 hits. We have successfully achieved our only goal, to connect Lympiani, family and friends across the globe. Λυμπιανοί και φίλοι της κοινότητας ,πέρασαν τη Δευτέρα 25 Μαίου, επίσημη αργία , μερικές ώρες ιδιαίτερα ευχάριστες που ο ιδεώδης καιρός τις έκαμε πραγματικά αξέχαστες , στην ετήσια εξόρμηση τους στο Κέντρο του Ραδιομαραθωνίου , συνδυάζοντας τη ψυγαγωγία μικρών και μεγάλων με την ενίσχυση της ποδοσφαιρικής ομάδας ΟΛΥΜΠΊΑ . Παίκτες και άλλοι φίλοι του ποδοσφαίρου χωρίσθηκαν σε δυο ομάδες και απόλαυσαν τα παιχνίδια τους ενώ άλλοι, μικροί και μεγάλοι, παρακολουθούσαν χειροκροτώντας ανάλογα με τις προτιμήσεις τους. Πολλά παιδιά πέρασαν ώρες ολόκληρες στο κινούμενο πλαστικό κάστρο με τους γονείς να ετοιμάζουν τα σουβλάκια και τις μητέρες άλλα εδέσματα ενώ άλλες παρέες απολάμβαναν την ευρυχωρία του Κέντρου και το άφθονο πράσινο που μαζί με τη λιακάδα , τόσο σπάνιο είδος , δημιουργούσαν μια ατμόσφαιρα γιορτινή, πραγματικά εξαίρετη. Το γεύμα που ακολούθησε , εύγεστο και πλουσιοπάροχο ενισχυμένο με ποτά και γλυκά. Μεσολάβησε αρκετή ώρα για γνωριμίες , πληροφόρηση και απλό κουβεντολόι όπως και για περίπατο στην άπλα του χώρου χάρη στην οποία το Κέντρο του Ραδιομαραθωνίου έχει αγαπηθεί τόσο πολύ. Η ωραία εκδήλωση επισφραγίσθηκε με την κλήρωση λαχείου την οποία προλόγισαν με κατάλληλα λόγια ο Αχιλλέας Κωστή Αχιλλέα και ο Τζακ Αναστάση .

	So this is what they get up to on Sundays? Look at those team skills, the guy in the red jacket is little Lea...
	Remember this old face? He is back on the pitch, surprisingly scoring goals, he is our secret weapon. He has gained a lot of respect this season from all members of the team and committee for his support, committment and enthusiasm - thank you Pete 'Ping' Lewis.

NEWS UPDATE!
Stavros Orfano has taken over management of Olympia FC due to George (Yorkie) Nicholaou throwing in the towel, it is not an easy job being Olympia manager (x-mangers of OlympiaFC will not tell you any different!). Unfortunately, in-house politics seem to always find their way of getting in the way of the real objective of Olympia FC, to keep our community together... we would like to take this opportunity to thank Yorkie for all his support and help this season and look forward to seeing him continue supporting the team at least from the side-line.

Our team coach remains to be George (ye ye ye) Pallecaros, who is an FA and UEFA approved coach, probably the only certified coach in the KOPA league.

Both committee and management remain all Lymbiani and are supported by a sub-committee consisting of Andy Achillea, Andy Nicholaou, Pantelis Christodoulou and Jack Panayi. Olympia FC remains in existence, but without the support of all involved it would easily fold, that is why it has been in existence since 1974!

Fixtures/Match reports - Apologies for the lack of support this year, the KOPA league has beena shambles with one match played played on average once every four weeks , we will do our upmost to bring you the latest news first!
